Date Added: 7/27/2010

Well it's slowly coming around but 18TH SEPTEMBER 2010 is the official start date of the 34th season of the SACFL. Fixtures should be published fairly soon and so the league committee would like to wish everyone well and hope that we all continue to play the game in the wonderful spirit that we have done for so many years.

33rd SACFL Season Ends

Date Added: 4/4/2010

As the 33rd SACFL Season draws to a close, our congratulations go to our Divisional Champions, The Coign Church FC (Div 1), Cheam Baptist Church (Div 2), Wheatsheaf Royals (Div 3). As for the Vets, the final is to be played between Stonechurch Vets & Molesey CCFC - Vets on 15th April at 7pm at Carshalton Athletic - I'm sure the teams would appreciate your support if you are able to go down and watch. The weather has been against us this year and a number of games have not been played which is a great pity. However, as per the discussions at the last 2 league meetings, the Season end date was agreed to not be moved and so any unplayed games are now void and will show a 0-0 in the results but with no points awarded. Don't forget that the end of Season 5-a-side & Awards Presentations are on 24th April 2010. It is being held at Mitcham & Tooting FC and more details will follow shortly from Ryan Slassenger. It's been a big shame that we have 2 clubs had to withdraw this year: AFC Open Door in Division 1, and Lokomotiv St. Peters from Division 3. It is always a shame when teams have to withdraw and we pray that you make it back to the SACFL soon or that players who represented you have or will find new clubs to represent within the league. See you all on the 24th, Your Chairman, League Secretary and Webmaster
